COVID-19 precautions taken to protect DCPT patients, employees
Dear friends of DCPT,
As you may have heard, about three weeks ago one of our employees tested positive for COVID-19. Subsequently, all employees who worked that week also got tested, and all patients who were seen that week were notified. We were temporarily closed for cleaning and testing. We are happy to report that our COVID-positive employee is feeling much better, and that no other employee tested positive (except for one asymptomatic employee, who was retested and was found to be negative). Also, to the best of our knowledge, none of our patients have tested positive or developed symptoms.
We are proud of our employees for their persistence in following CDC guidelines for mask-wearing (either KN-95s or N-95s for all those involved in direct patient care), handwashing, social distancing, and keeping our facility disinfected. We screen all employees and patients every day and have air purifiers in each of our private treatment rooms. The fact that the virus did not spread from the one employee attests to the effectiveness of these measures.

- Fitness program: The gym is open on a limited basis; please call ahead to check availability so that we can safely manage the number of people in the gym at any given time.
